The Fire of London started on September 2nd 1666 and roared for four days, laying a great part of the city into ashes.
The Museum of London asked Fabrique to create a website that marks the 350th anniversary of the blaze.
In the brief they asked to create the story of the events, tracking the course of the fire that broke out.
The website has been awarded silver on the European Design Awards!
In the concept, we wanted to tell the story of the fire while also creating a permanent resource for information on the fire.
The website brings together an interactive maps as well as images and information from 11 partners, including the museum’s own collections.
I created the concept for the pitch, together with the information architecture.
